FDA mulls teen tanning bed ban
Thu Mar 25, 2010
I can't believe anyone would use a tanning bed. Most people can get enough Vit. D from fortified foods, and if they need to, take a supplement in MODERATE amounts.
8 awesome alarm clocks
Thu Mar 25, 2010
I just set my clock to radio and put it across the room so I can't turn it off without getting out of bed. It's especially helpful when NPR is doing a fundraiser. I Can't WAIT to shut it off when they're asking me for money!
Where Facebook profiles go when we die
Thu Mar 25, 2010
Really, people are that pathetic they troll their loved ones' Facebook pages? Facebook is clearly too omnipotent at this point. Why not just see a counselor if you're having trouble coping with death? I'm so glad my grandmother didn't have a FB account when she died.

Big changes proposed in psychiatric diagnoses
Wed Feb 10, 2010
You can't have both bipolar 1 and 2. If you have 2, it means you've never had a manic episode - only hypomanic. If you had bipolar 2 then had a full manic episode, you would then have your diagnosis changed to bipolar 1.
How vulnerable are you to stress?
Tue May 5, 2009
A lot of the questions shouldn't have the responses they have. How can you "seldom" have family members less than 50 miles away? Also, I live alone? Are they asking me if I argue with myself about chores? What a stupid quiz!
State House limits cell phone usage for drivers
Fri Feb 5, 2010
It's a start, but driving using a hands-free device is still "distracted driving" akin to driving drunk.
